Have actually tried this. I'm able to add them to the server certificates but have found that the servers in the server certificate store are vanishing when I navigate away from it and thus I'm not able to bind them to the website...
The other mentioned method I have explored as well. I can get them to the right place in the certificate store no problems however when using setClientCertificate("LOCAL_MACHINE\\Personal") with any permutation of the string that I would have thought would
point to it (ie with '\\certificate friendly name here' or '\\certificate filename here' on the end of it) to call the certificate from the store, no change.
I'm beginning to think this may be a more complicated issue with my machine. Im running on VMware if it makes a different though I would have thought this would be fine. That or I am completely misunderstanding the technology. Will keep investigating and return with results (if any for future googlers)
